Ruxandra Rădulescu is a Junior Lecturer in the American Studies program, Department of English, University of Bucharest. She is currently finishing her doctoral dissertation on indigenous urban narratives in U.S. literature, having completed an MA in American Studies at the University of Bucharest and one in English at Emporia State University. She has taught introductory courses in Native American Studies and cultural anthropology, has presented in more than 15 international conferences to date, and has published articles on American Indian literatures. She is also a member of a nationally funded research team on intersections and overlaps in the areas of postcolonialism and postcommunism.
