The goal of the School
is to introduce a narratology approach to communicative strategies and discursive
practices of modern culture through a system of lecture courses, seminars,
tutorials, and roundtable panels. The School provides opportunities for interdisciplinary
synergies, and brings together young university teachers in literature studies,
history, sociology, linguistics, psychology, philosophy, education, and political
science. The School program includes three courses: The Narrative: from Communicative
Strategies to Discursive Practice; The Author in the Space of The Narrative
Text; Narratology of Political and Historical Texts. Two methodological seminars
will discuss: Topicality in the Humanities and Social Sciences, and The Institute
for Critical Social Studies and the Renovation of Humanities Education.
