The School offers an intensive interdisciplinary review of human rights legislation and mechanisms of human rights protection. Part I (Introduction to Human Rights) examines human rights underpinnings, norms, institutions and processes. Part II (International and Domestic Mechanisms of Human Rights Protection) opens the subject of forms and methods of human rights protection in place in the countries of the former Soviet Union. Part III is dedicated to examining and developing the content and methods of human rights education in the region. The target group is young university teachers and advanced graduate students with teaching responsibilities in various areas of social sciences focusing on the study of human rights issues.
