The
main objective of the School is to provide a better understanding of the
issues related to the theory of International Finance, and to focus on the
techniques of financial time series analysis at the applied level. By attracting
participants from different countries with different perspectives on the international
financial system, the School will help to widen the scope of academic reasoning
of its participants, and, hence, contribute to their ability to present the
subject to their students. The courses at the School will be taught by experienced
scholars from Western Europe, and will be based on the most recent literature
on the subject. Lectures will be accompanied by a series of additional classes:
computer sessions, discussion seminars and problem-solving sessions.
