The School provides an opportunity for junior teachers
of social work from Mongolia to develop knowledge and skills for teaching
social work with an extensive focus on the social development perspective.
The School offers the following courses: the Social Development Perspective
in Social Work: Implications for Policy and Practice; The Social Worker as
a Change Agent; Community Organization: Intervention Strategies, Tactics
and Techniques for Social Work Practice; and Action Research as an Innovative
Learning Tool for Social Work Teachers. Course instructors with extensive
international experience in social work and social development are drawn
from two leading American schools of social work: the School of Social Work,
University of Pennsylvania and the George Warren Brown School of Social Work,
Washington University, St. Louis.
