The Department of Communication and Public Relations is made up of a team of specialists aided by collaborators from outside the faculty and the university. By a flexible and receptive orientation towards contemporary socio-cultural dynamics, the department constantly tries to place itself at the cutting edge of the general restructuring and modernisation process in the Romanian higher education system.
The teaching and research activity of the members of the department is directed towards fields such as the theory of communication, public relations, history of culture and mentalities, the study of mass culture, semiotics, audio-visual communication, advertising, management, applied sociology, social psychology, intercultural relations, and data processing.
