The Department of Ethnology and Folklore offers students of the Faculty of Letters introductory courses in folk culture, romanian literary folklore, ethnology and cultural anthropology and a series of optional and alternative courses in the same areas.
The main objective of these courses and seminars is to familiarise students with Romanian traditional culture, basic concepts in the field of ethnology, and the processes, transformations and changes that take place at the level of folk culture and its components.
