The Theoretical and Mathematical Physics Department provides courses in quantum mechanics, electrodynamics, and theoretical mechanics for all degree programmes in the faculty, and a series of optional courses in theoretical physics. The research interests of the department's members relate to: relativist atomic processes with one and two photons; mathematical physics; the quantum theory of fields and of elementary particles.
