Romanian-Bulgarian linguistic contacts, Contemporary Bulgarian, Bulgarian lexicology and phraseology, Bulgarian history, culture and civilisation, Balkan imagology and mentalities, Old Church Slavonic and Romanian Slavonic, methodology in teaching foreign languages.
