Research

Past research programs:
The Center was a member of the TRES (Teaching Religion in a multicultural European Society) Thematic Network, launched by the University of Uppsala, Sweden, in the framework of an Erasmus Socrates 3 year (2005-2008) project, with the participation of 57 institutional partners from 26 countries. The project’s objective was a comparative study of the teaching of religion in the participating countries.

Ongoing research programs:
The Center is involved in a new research project, JICNET: The Hermeneutics of Judaism, Christianity and Islam Network, launched by the University of Vienna, Austria, with 8 institutional partners (FP7-ITN application, currently under evaluation).
