The Ars Docendi Press was created in 1998 as part of the Pilot Centre for Information Technology of the University of Bucharest, with the effort of a group of professors involved in projects for the Reform Programme. The press reports to the Rector of the University and supports the projects included in the Institutional Development Strategy.

Ars Docendi Press has published since its foundation over 200 book titles and many printed materials for national and international scientific events, together with some collection editions (Irina Nicolau, Le Pied chaussé and Haide bre!
