Faculty of Journalism and Communication Studies



The Faculty of Journalism and Communication Studies organises a doctoral programme in the communication studies (full-time or part-time).
The faculty has established considerable prestige among academic institutions in the field both in Romania and abroad. It holds the presidency of the Association of Schools of Journalism in Eastern and Central Europe. It is an associate member of the European Journalist Training Association, based in Maastricht, of the Théophraste Renaudot Network of Francophone Schools of Journalism, of the European Centre for Research on Mass Communication, and of ORBICUM-UNESCO (the international network of departments of communication studies).
Every year, students and staff of the faculty take part in European programmes of journalism or in university or journalistic exchanges with Eastern and Western European countries. We have academic and research relations with prestigious institutions abroad, including : the Ecole Supérieure de Journalisme, Lille; Université du Quebec, Montréal; Mid Sweden University; Université de Grenoble; Université Paul Valéry, Montpellier.
