Methodology
The research project consists of 6 distinct stages of 3, 6 and 9 months respectively, set according to the research objectives, the project log-frame, and the Contracting Authority’s specifications. The stages have been developed following the identification of the optimal relations between the project purpose, project objectives, tangible results, and available resources. They are as follows:
Stage 1: October – December 2007
Stage 2: January – June 2008 (month 4 - month 9)
Stage 3: July – December 2008 (month 10 – month 15)
Stage 4: January – June 2009 (month 16 -- month 21)
Stage 5: July – December 2009 (month 22 -- month 27)
Stage 6: January – September 2010 (month 28 -- month 36)
As a general rule, in order to meet both the general / IDEI-derived objectives and our specific research objectives, each research stage has been approached in terms of 4 categories of activities: research & investigation activities,workshops & paper development, project management activities.
