Medical Physics

The Medical Physics programme was launched in 1994 on a provisional accreditation, in order to train specialists able to meet the needs of modern medicine in areas such as: radiotherapy, radiation dosimetry, computerised imagery and scanning, and the development of new nuclear methods of clinical investigation.
Starting in the academic year 2000-2001, the Faculty of Physics now offers three new programmes: biophysics, information technology physics and physics and environmental protection.
