Footnotes, as established by the Romanian Academy quotation system:

For books

Authors: First name, LAST NAME (capitals), title (italics), place of apparition, edition, year, page (p.)

Ex: Peter HEATHER, Empires and Barbarians. Migration, Development and the Birth of Europe, London, Pan Books, 2009, p. 175.

 

For articles

Name of the author (First name, LAST NAME (capitals), Title of the article (italics), “Name of the revue” (between quotation marks), year, number, fascicle, etc, page.

Ex: Walter POHL, Konflicktverlauf und Konflicktbewältigung: Romer und Barbaren in frühen Mittelalter, „Frühmittelaterliche Studien“, 26, 1992, p. 165-207.

 

Contribution in a collective volume:

Name of the author (First name, LAST NAME (capitals), Title of the article (italics), “Name of the collective volume”, name of the editor, place of apparition, edition, year, page (p.)

Ex: Hédia KHADAR, La symbolique de l’espace au Maghreb, « Imaginaires des points cardinaux. Aux quatre angles du monde », Michel Viegnes (Ed.), Paris, Imago, 2005, p. 89-96.

 

For a work already cited :

Name of the author (First name, LAST NAME (capitals), op. cit. (book) or  art. cit. (article), page.

 

For a work already cited in the previous foot-note:
