TRANSLATION CAFÉ
ISSN 1842 – 9149

Translation Café s-a înfiinţat în 2007 ca revistă a programului de masterat Traducerea Textului Literar (MTTLC), la Universitatea din Bucureşti.

Sistemul eZINE consistă în traduceri paralele ale aceluiaşi text. Traducerile sunt realizate de studenţi masteranzi ai MTTLC, ca o prelungire a activităţii lor educaţionale. Traducerile sunt menite a-i introduce pe studenţi în activitatea de traducător şi a le dezvolta sentimentul de proprietate intelectuală asupra traducerii realizate. Rezultatele acestei activităţi conduc adesea la volume publicate de editura Contemporary Literature Press, http://editura.mttlc.ro/ . Revista este accesibilă pe Internet pe data de 18 a fiecărei luni.

Textele sunt traduse din engleză în română sau din română în engleză şi aparţin tuturor genurilor literare – ficţiune, poezie, critică literară, eseu. Accentul este pus pe literatura modernă, în special literatura secolului al XX-lea şi al XXI-lea reprezentată de autori români, britanici şi americani.
