2006-2009,  Researcher,  Tyndall National Institute at College University Cork, Ireland:

1997-1998, PostDoc Research associate, Texas A&M University, College Station, USA:  stored ions experiments in Stored Ions Group of Prof. Hans Schuessler.

1997 Visiting Assistant Professor, Texas A&M University, College Station, USA.

1990 – present, Faculty of Physics, University of Bucharest:

  • study of mathematical description and measurement of the frequency stability of the atomic frequency standards,
  • research on interferential optical coatings.

1984-1990 Scientific Researcher, Atomic Frequency Standards Group, Institute of Physics & Technology of Radiation Devices, Bucharest:

  • research on H masers, design of the control systems for hydrogen flow and cavity temperature,
  • study of the phase-lock loop used to transfer frequency stability in H maser,
  • designed and study of the electronic system for rubidium passive frequency standard.
